Did you miss the 2001 Air and Waste Management Association
(A&WMA) exhibition in Orlando, Florida last month? Tour
the Online Exhibition!

and click "Enter". The entrance replicates the entire
floor plan of the live event. You'll find eight floor sections,
three sets of navigation tools on each page, hundreds of links
to the exhibitors, an A-Z exhibitor listing, conference information
and hot links for joining the A&WMA organization. Created
entirely by ActiveSET.org*, the Online Exhibition serves as
a valuable reference source for researching and contacting the
exhibitors.
The "live" exhibition was outstanding. Nearly 300
companies serving the air and waste management industry showcased
their services or products and handed out gobs of free goodies.
The networking was incredible - many exhibitor's Corporate Presidents,
CEOs, industry experts, inventors and VIPs of all types were
available to answer your questions. Several solicited job opportunities
too. The New Product Technology Theater offered live demonstrations
of EHS software, source testing equipment, environmental consultants,
pollution control devices and more.
Browsing the exhibition brought many delightful surprises.
New products included gas analyzers that have multi-parameter
capabilities, one weighing only 35lbs. There was a prototype
"extendable" stack testing probe, an Australian pavilion,
and an A&WMA bookstore. The Internet Cafe was a special
treat: attendees could check in with the office, conduct business,
or send a quick e-mail. The U.S. EPA distributed their "Air
CHIEF" CD and materials on the U.S./Asia Environmental
Partnership and the National Environmental Performance Track.
It's impossible to describe everything you could discover.
This was a first-class top notch show for the air and waste
