Horizon Engineering was founded in 1982 by David Rossman to serve the environmental and energy needs of industrial and commercial clients. Mr. Rossman has been in the source testing profession in the Northwest since 1972. Although his first employer no longer does source testing (we acquired their equipment in 1978), at Horizon Engineering we still take care of clients that we first tested in the mid 1970s. Horizon Engineering has not changed ownership since its formation in 1982. We pride ourselves in supporting our clients over the long term.
Horizon Engineering maintains three dedicated instrument vans fully equipped for compliance testing of the criteria pollutants plus an instrument trailer. In addition, a portable, compliance quality system is available for locations where stringing sample lines to a van is not reasonable. Data acquisition systems are used for recording instrument outputs. We have the experience and capability to mobilize equipment and personnel around the world for your testing needs.
We have the equipment and personnel to conduct up to ten simultaneous manual sampling trains and still operate continuous monitoring gear. We maintain a warehouse full of support equipment including heated and unheated sample lines, umbilicals, probes, full-sized and midget impinger trains, pumps, meters, analyzers, lung samplers, calibration gases, sample gas conditioners, data systems, and a myriad of miscellaneous items.
