GCI is devoted to providing our clients with superior technical expertise in air emissions sampling. Our staff consists of specialists in the latest sampling techniques and technical advancements. GCI s extensive inventory of sampling equipment allows our staff to perform tests at numerous locations simultaneously, while maintaining adequate backup equipment to prevent delays due to malfunction. GCI operates in compliance with the ASTM D 7036-04 Standard Practice for Competence of Air Emissions Testing Bodies and is one of only 20 AETB s that holds interim accreditation from an outside source.
COMPANY EXPERTISE:
We specialize in stack testing, with an average Crew Chief experience level of over 18 years. In addition, a QI/QSTI having passed one, or all, of the group tests will be present on every job site. We provide emissions testing to all types of industry with an emphasis in coal fired power plants, coordinating and performing a variety of tests, including (but not limited to) performance testing of SCR and SNCR systems, emissions testing of Mercury from coal fired plants, CEMS RATAs, PS 11 PM CEMs Specifications and Sorbent Injection Studies. GCI performs flow RATAs using Methods 2F, 2G and 2H and also has the capability to use electronic flow measurement for the highest accuracy and repeatability.
