"Enhanced Duel Stream "Peltier" Cooler"
Friday, February 18, 2005 at 15:51:50

Extractive systems for gas analysis employ in most applications electrical coolers (chillers) for the reduction of the dew point.

The reliability of the analysis, however, depends to great extent on how stable the dew point can be maintained particularly under varying ambient conditions.

Buhler, a leading supplier of fine products for gas analysis systems has now enhanced the capabilities of its cooler line. The new PKE 42 cooler features a higher cooling capacity, which enables the system to provide an exceedingly stable dew point under variant ambient air conditions.

The cooling block is able to accomodate heat exchangers made of different materials such as stainless steel, duran glass, or PVDF. The heat exchangers are available in both single and duel stream versions. Like all Buhler gas coolers, the new PKE 42 model is capable of high performance on just one heat exchanger compared to other leading manufacturers that must rely on two heat exchangers for similar performance.

A digital LED display indicates the temperature of the cooling block as well as the unit's status. DIN connectors are the interface for power supply and signal output.
